..::poem of jannah::..

-- poem of jannah --

close your eyes and imagine this,
eternal bliss,
your every wish at your fingertips and more,
perched on a throne near a stream so scene and exquisite,
a scene you've never seen, yet you still dream of more..

gone is pain, gone is fear, gone is grief, gone are tears,
idle speech you shall never hear,
and the prophet make up your social sphere and more..

marthyrs righteous and the truthful,
you are from them and they are from you,
they held tightly to what they knew as true,
and to join them, you did too, there's more,
maidens chaste to who restrain their gaze,
lost in a glance for days and days..

fun and frolic as a child plays,
where the breath that leaves your lips is praise,
of the one who give you more..

imagine you and your father would able to save,
imagine showing book with no shame,
imagine nights with the sahaba with their stories to entertain,
imagine Muhammad s.a.w knowing your name..

..what could be there more..

gardens underneath which rivers flow,
a goal so far and yet so close,
a journey worth taking for those who knows..

tell me do you not wish to go for more?

for all the bounties and all the grace,
all the sights and the smells and the taste would be forgotten
without trace, as if frozen in time and space,
 when you see His face..

what an excellent Master,
of miserable slave,
you forgot and He forgave,
He gave you guidance and you still strayed?
you ask your mercy, that He gave,
and more and more and more..

~ what could be there more? ~

Those who spend (freely), whether in prosperity, or in adversity; who restrain anger, and pardon (all) men;-
for Allah loves those who do good;- And those who, having done something to be ashamed of, or wronged their own souls, earnestly bring Allah to mind, and ask for forgiveness for their sins,- and who can forgive sins except Allah?- and are never obstinate in persisting knowingly in (the wrong) they have done.
For such the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rivers flowing underneath,- an eternal dwelling: How excellent a recompense for those who work (and strive)!
(3:134-136)
